Mission
The mission of the Healthy Sight Institute is to promote Healthy Sight through education, awareness of eye health and wellness, and enhanced visual quality.
The Healthy Sight Institute draws on the expertise of the Steering Committee to educate and collaborate with vision and healthcare professionals, optical industry leaders, policy makers, and the public for a wider understanding of proactive and preventive eye care choices.
We offer information, educational materials, and programs developed with the understanding that each individual’s sight should be evaluated and treated based on current vision capabilities and potential, specific environmental and occupational needs, and the potential short-term and long-term risks to visual health and wellness.
